Good, good.. means I can help. Probably. Possibly. I’m hoping so, at least. /she grins sheepishly/ So uhh, how do you want to do this?
I don’t know… You’re the expert here. /she pouts/
/she chuckles/ Right. Gloves. I’ll make sure I buy some soon. Maybe next weekend? If I have time. You could come help me pick some out if you want.
I’ll come with you, maybe… That depends on whether I can get some free time to bother you.. /she giggles softly/ You need pretty gloves because if your gloves aren’t I can’t be out in public with you.
/she smiles, tilting her head/ What kind do you need? Because I’m sorry to disappoint but I can probably only pull off shoulder and back massages.
That’s fine.. /she smiles lightly, rubbing at her cheeks/ My back was in need of massages in the first place, so you’ll be fine. /she happily smiles up at you/
/she slides over to you/ A massage, you say? I’m up for that.
/tugs on your hands/ Please yes. I need massages ok.
Oh, really? Interesting. Maybe I should steal something of yours then.
How about you don’t?
Taking a few seconds to look at the peas as she listened to Wendy’s explanation, Seulgi raised an eyebrow once more, wondering what she should do. Her gaze falling upon the other girl’s face, observing the pout that formed on her face, she let out a soft sigh. “Alright, alright. I’ll try. For you. Aren’t I nice?” She chuckled lightly, taking the peas, holding the pack against her stinging lip. “.. What do ya know? It feels a little better.”
She pouted slightly, continuing to try and push the bag of peas into Seulgi’s face before breaking into a bright smile when the other gave in and took the bag from her. She cheered, smiling happily as she closely observed the older. Her eyes not leaving Seulgi, she reached over to grab her own mug again, sipping gently from it. “You’re the nicest.. At this point. Heh. Now please make sure your lip stops hurting.” She smiled upon hearing the other’s words when Seulgi announced her lip had started hurting a little less. “You’re welcome!”
As the other girl dashed off to the kitchen, Seulgi peeked at her, raising an eyebrow as she wondered what the girl could possibly be doing. Taking the little time she got alone to clear her throat, carefully sipping her chocolate again before the other returned, capturing her attention once more. “… Peas?” She asked the younger, tilting her head slightly as her eyes narrowed. “What exactly should I do with those to get rid of the burn?” She continued after a small pause, eyeing the pack in the other’s hands.
She pouted, holding out the peas to the other. “They’re cold.. It’ll relieve the pain! I think.. They always do this in movies and stuff so I figured it’s gotta work.” She moved the peas closer to Seulgi’s burned lip, indicating her to hold the peas against it. “If it doesn’t work, I’ll just put them back in the fridge.. Please just try it?” She jutted out her lower lip in a pout, moving a strand of hair out of her face.
The girl squinted as her group mate spoke in her native tongue, taking a good amount of time to process what the girl was saying before she completely understood what was going on. “Ah, seriously, you with your English and your expressions.” She puffed her cheeks briefly, bringing her tongue out to gently pass over the stinging spot on her lip in an attempt to ease it. Her gaze going from the mug in her hand, filled with the hot substance that caused the pain, to the girl next to her, an almost unnoticeable pause following before Seulgi looked away again, her hair hanging over the side of her face, blocking her view on Wendy and vice versa. Her tongue retreating back into her mouth, she hastily lifted her mug to her lips, taking a small sip to avoid burning herself again.
Wendy bit down on her inner lip, closely watching Seulgi’s face as the other processed the English phrase used. It was an adorable sight to Wendy, even though she was not at all going to admit that. Out loud, at least. She leaned over to put her mug down, rushing off to the kitchen after seeing Seulgi’s attempts on soothing the burn she had suffered moments earlier. She knew there had to be something in the fridge which she could use to cool down the other’s lip, although Wendy hadn’t a clue on what to use. She pouted before settling on whichever vegetable she could grab, moving back to the couch before presenting it to Seulgi. “You can use this to get rid of the burn!”
“Only this once? Nope. No can do. You’re going to have to ask your parents to send me one. Maybe I’ll actually become as immune to the cold as you are if I have one of my own.” She chuckled, watching Wendy’s expression, a smile appearing on her face subconsciously as she witnessed the younger’s. When the other replied to her joke with a darkened expression, Seulgi stuck out her tongue at her. It appeared the younger was right about karma having struck, quite ironically targeting the tongue she had stuck out at her. “That’s not fair! I was kidding! Why must you hurt me, karma?” The girl called out, carefully pulling her tongue back into her mouth after a few seconds. She winced as it passed over her lower lip, both the muscle and her lip stinging in reaction to the slight friction. “Ow—!” She exclaimed, her lower lip automatically pushing forward into a pout. “My lip hurts.” She stated as she turned to Wendy, pointing at the prickling area with the index finger of the hand that wasn’t holding her mug, her eyes in what she would always call ‘puppy dog mode’.
“Fine, fine! I’ll call my parents when it’s not like… a ridiculous time there to ask for a sweater in your size to be sent over.. I’m sure they’ll be glad to send you one.” She rolled her eyes, shortly shaking her head before sipping her own mug, letting the tea warm her body. “Karma’s a bitch,” she spoke in English, “You never know when it’s gonna hit, but in the end, it’ll always get to you.. I thought you knew that.” She switched back to Korean for the last few words, playfully nudging Seulgi’s cheek with her finger. “You shouldn’t have insulted my hot chocolate preparation skills.”
