It wasn’t rare for the singer to be found roaming the building or anywhere that involved the label—whether it was the building itself, or the dorms. Though when he wasn’t running through schedules, there were often times he was required to practice, to perfect. His group was known as the “kings of the hallyu wave” but there were countless dances to remember, countless steps to perfect.

He had chosen a dance studio for himself, there had been members there earlier but they had all departed to take care of other schedule needs, leaving the maknae to continue to practice by himself. Though he thought he would be alone for a while, he was proven otherwise when he heard the doors open, his head turning; his hair pushed back, forehead gleaming with a towel draped around his shoulders and a bottle of water in his hands. “Ah? Oh, Wendy- “ he shook his head before turning, a supposed to be friendly, but more so awkward smile curling onto his lips. “No, no, you’re fine.. uh, did you come here to practice, too?”

Truly, Wendy was surprised to see the older male in front of her. It was weird, seeing people from the same label shouldn’t be surprising any more, but she was. She’d expect Exo, the rookies or SHINee, but Kyuhyun was different. Even more so because it was getting later, the time in which Wendy felt most comfortable practising because the chances of people meeting her would decrease drastically. She didn’t like to be seen when she was practising.

Her eyes had dropped to the floor after she bowed towards her senior, nervous fingers playing with the edge of her shirt. The awkwardness in his voice was rather obvious, it honestly didn’t make Wendy feel any better about the whole situation. Kyuhyun was somewhat close with Seulgi and Irene, and she’d heard stories from them as well as other employees, but there had always been quite a distance between her and her senior, something Wendy wasn’t quite sure how to deal with. She looked back up at him, actually having to strain her neck a bit due to the difference in height between her and the male. “Well… We’re in the practice rooms of the company… So I don’t think I came here to… not sure, pick flowers or something.” She laughed softly, more in an attempt to ease the tension in the room. Jokes seemed to be an option, the only option perhaps. She smiled lightly afterwards. “Have you been here for long, or..?”

The rookie quietly moved through the SMEntertainment building, fingers combing through her brown hair. Wendy was usually around the building outside of promotions, her disadvantage when it came to dancing being something she was trying to work on as much as she could. She sometimes envied Seulgi because she danced so easily, but it also was an easy way out.

The halls seemed rather empty and Wendy honestly enjoyed the privacy she felt. She then sighed, opening a seemingly empty dance studio, only to then spot Kyuhyun hogging the room. She stopped in her tracks, chuckling softly before stepping back. “Oh– sunbae, I didn’t know you were in here, I’m sorry… I’ll leave.. Heh.”
