Wendy rolled around under her blanket, teeth digging into her lower lip. She’d been laying awake for longer than necessary. The other members had gone to bed earlier than usual, given that it was only a day until their comeback stage, and even though they’d been practising more than ever, Wendy’s nerves shot through the roof. She’d tried calling her parents in Canada, but they didn’t answer. She’d tried relaxing tea, but it didn’t help. She’d given up all hope for now, and hoped the relaxed breaths of the other members she shared a room with - why they only had one bedroom still baffled her - would soon calm her raging heart, still her nerves, and work as a quiet lullaby to get the Canadian to sleep.
Sadly, Wendy’s tries still proved useless, tears stinging her eyes as they tried to fight her way out of the brown eyes of the young female. She knew Irene was stressed as well, she knew Yeri had to go to school the next day, and that Joy would murder her if she were to wake the tall female now. The only option she had was Seulgi. Coming to think of it, Seulgi seemed the best in general, given her status as the teddy bear and the moodmaker, and they were close, not just their ages, but also their personalities and voices were a great match. She carefully got out of her bed, wrapping her blanket around her before shuffling towards the other’s bed before shaking her arm gently. “Y-Yah, Kang Seulgi.. W-Wake up, please..”
The dark and goth-like trainee, Miuccia went to a music show along with a few other trainees of CMH Entertainment to see what it is like once they debuted, how music programs works. It just so happened that Red Velvet made a comeback. People would tell her how she kind of looked like one of the members of Red Velvet, the only difference is the hair, since Miuccia has a black and white two-toned hair, like Cruella De Vil while the idol, Seulgi has blonde.
She was at the hallways at the music show backstage, since they had an ID pass from their company label. Much to her surprise one of the members of Red Velvet was walking across the hallway as well. She immediately bowed, deciding to push away her bad habits and cold demeanor upon meeting an idol.
Wendy was happily talking to some employees of backstage M!Countdown. It still was a bit before Red Velvet was up for their comeback stage, and she had gotten bored sitting in the room with her other members. She was the one to stress a lot, and distracting herself with relaxed other people seemed easier than trying to relax in a room filled with stressed members. It had been a while since she had initiated the conversation, and the employee had to rush to continue doing his job. Wendy apologized for taking up so much of his time, rushing along the hallways afterwards.
Her attention was caught by a girl who strangely enough resembled her group mate - as well has her secret girlfriend - in more than one way. “Yah, Seulgi–” She frowned lightly as she approached the other, only then noticing the different haircolour as well as realizing it was a different person altogether. She bowed, cheeks heating up slightly. “Oh, I’m sorry, I mistook you for my group mate– you look like her. But I don’t think I’ve seen you before.. are you debuting?” Her head tilted curiously, smiling lightly at the unknown female.
[/she was busy rummaging through the racks filled with chips in the grocery store that morning that she wasn’t able to gauge the proximity around her, much less the person she was going to bump into] Omo! Mian— [/Yura turns around abruptly, to look at the person she collided with, the bright colored hair a giveaway that it was one of her colleagues] Eo … Wendy ssi?
Wendy was quiet as she moved around the grocery store, trying her best to decide which of the many different kinds of noodles’d be the best to serve as meals for her members. She had already gathered some fruits to prepare for Yeri in the mornings, but with just fruits, no one was gonna survive through the promotions. She’d tried her best to hide her blonde hair under a hoodie, glad the weather was still somewhat chilly, and faced the floor for as much as she could. Everything was going great until she walked straight into someone, quickly bowing to murmur a quiet apology, hoping that speaking English would make the stranger think she was foreign, but apparently it only got the other to recognise her. She looked up upon hearing her name being uttered, blinking quickly. “A-Ah, seonbaenim.. Hi.”
