Momentarily lifting her chin from the other girl’s shoulder, she instead rested her cheek on it, showing her girlfriend a pout before mouthing “meanie” in response. But of course, her lips pulled into a smile as she suppressed a chuckle. She did love this side of Wendy, playful but she knew how she really felt. And somehow she always found herself smiling because of the teasing. Once her girlfriend announced their food would arrive soon, Seulgi stayed quiet, gently squeezing the girl against her to let her know she had heard.
A sly smile tugged up Wendy’s lips as she noticed her girlfriend mouth at her. She smiled as she snuggled closer into the older’s arms, her face hiding in the crook of her neck. She liked that she and Seulgi could communicate in utter silence. Silences were hardly ever awkward for the couple, which was something she cherished. Her head raised after a few moment, softly pressing her lips to Seulgi’s cheek. She let out a soft yawn, playing with her girlfriend’s fingers as she waited for the time to pass. “Your hands are soft..”
( ❅ - Her younger member’s retort elicits a half-offended (mostly amused) scoff from the shy leader. Of course she could compare the “awesome” characteristics of penguins to other animals, but ones that only shared the same color scheme? Irene’s eyes close and she gives a little shake of her head though a breathy chuckle leaving her lips. “I’m sorry, go on with your comparison, Olaf. I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
Wendy puffed out her cheeks, looking down as she played with the hem of her sweater. “No… It’s obvious you’re not taking me seriously. I’m just gonna go to the Antarctic on my own now to meet penguins and pet penguins and science with penguins… And protect them from fur seals! I would tell you why, but you apparently don’t care about my love for penguins.” She huffed, sitting down as she hugged her knees. “Zebras aren’t pretty like penguins.”
